Add a touch of warmth and style to your garden with our Corten Steel Planters.

They’re made from strong weathering steel, sometimes called Corten, which slowly develops a rich rusted patina when exposed to the air. The patina protects the metal, giving each planter a long life outdoors.

Every planter is designed and built by our team in Essex using 3 mm pre-weathered steel. Smooth welded corners and clean lines create a modern look that suits gardens, terraces, and other outdoor spaces.

Choose a planter that arrives fully assembled or in easy-to-handle sections. You can also add drainage holes to keep plants healthy and prevent water build-up.

Installation Notes

You can receive your planter fully assembled or in sections with an easy guide.
Place it on a firm, level surface and check that drainage holes are clear before filling with soil.
A thin layer of gravel or stones at the base helps water flow and keeps roots healthy.

As the weathering process starts, the steel naturally gains its protective rusted patina. This needs no paint or extra coating. In the first few weeks, avoid placing it directly on porous paving, as early rain run-off may leave light marks that fade with time.

Size

Each planter is made from 3 mm pre-weathered steel.
Standard sizes are kept in stock, and we can build custom dimensions to match your design.

Approximate weight: 24 kilograms per metre, depending on size.
