2mm Aluminium Soffit Type 3 for Clean Roofline Detailing
The 2mm Aluminium Soffit Type 3 – 3m Length is designed to finish the underside of roof overhangs and eaves while forming part of a coordinated aluminium roofline system.
It is manufactured from 2mm aluminium and supplied in a 3 metre length. The Type 3 profile uses a secret-fix system, helping to reduce visible fixings and create a cleaner underside detail. This can be particularly useful on modern homes, housing developments and commercial buildings where the soffit remains clearly visible from ground level.
Standard widths run from 150mm to 800mm, giving contractors, developers and homeowners a broad choice for different eaves depths. Each 3m length includes one union, helping adjoining sections connect across longer soffit runs.
A wide range of RAL and BS colours is available, together with mill finish. Where a powder-coated finish is selected, Metal Profiles applies external-grade polyester powder coating to the exposed surface unless agreed otherwise. This makes it easier to coordinate the soffit with aluminium fascia, guttering and other roofline components.
